Level 2 Award for Working as a Security Officer in the Private Security Industry – (Top Up)

The security Industry is regulated by the Security Industry Authority (SIA).  The Private Security Industry ACT 2001 requires all individuals working in the sector to be licensed.

Since 1 October 2021 the SIA has made ‘Top Up’ training mandatory for anyone awarded their licence before October 2021

Our ‘Top Up’ training meets the required standards as set by the SIA and will enable individuals to renew their Security Officer Licence.

We provide high-quality teaching and learning to help you to achieve and renew your   SIA Licence.

The course is run over 3 days with and consists of 3 Units:

• Principles or Terror Threat Awareness in the Private Security Industry
• Principles of Minimising Personal Risk in the Private Security Industry

Entry Requirements

Course Applicants must hold a valid First Aid or Emergency First Aid at Certificate
